Alliance Rehabilitation is a specialised allied health service supporting people with rehabilitation and disability care across North Queensland.

Our service operates over two locations in South Townsville and Pimlico

The opportunity

Alliance Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced cleaner with demonstrated knowledge and experience in health and/or similar services.

Cleaning services will be scheduled for out of clinic hours (end of day or start of day). The role is 25-30 hours pw with the opportunity to grow to full time.

About you

The ideal candidate should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. Strong organisational skills and the willingness to jump into any task at hand will also contribute to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold the team values of Be Present, Lead Change, Pursue Growth and Act With Integrity
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness across all facilities daily
• Maintain vehicles (cleaning, fuelling, safety)
• Perform basic facilities maintenance tasks
• Maintain an excellent working knowledge of cleaning protocols and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with facility policies and the privacy act.
• Use appropriate infection control procedures, maintain a tidy and safe facility and free from hazards
• Behave in a manner which is welcoming to and of the individual, is non-judgmental and respects their circumstances, feelings priorities and rights
• Be ready to jump in an lend a hand, welcome visitors and be part of a great team

Essential Requirements of the Role

• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current federal police check
• Positive notice (working with children check), Queensland Blue Card
• Unrestricted Drivers licence, Provisional or Open

Desirable Attributes

• Experience in a health related role
• Comfort with computer systems - we use electronic means to delegate and allocate work and communicate requests.
