Our client is a National industry leader and Tier One Electrical Contractor providing their clients with exceptional electrical services across the commercial and construction sectors.

As a result of continued growth, our client is seeking a highly motivated, customer driven Account Manager to join their team of construction industry professionals.

Primary Objectives

This role will primarily be based in the Brisbane CBD, this role involves cultivating long-term relationships with clients, overseeing various minor projects, and ensuring the delivery of electrical and communication services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects and service works are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and develop potential opportunities for business growth by creating and following up on new client opportunities, quoting work for service and minor works, obtaining client feedback and maintaining relationships
  • Supervise a team of Service Technicians responsible for managing client service requirements, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance and minor installation projects
  • Provide timely and accurate technical support to customers, effectively manage client expectations and ensure that all works are completed to company and industry standards
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account status and performance.
  • Enforcing and maintaining all relevant safety processes and compliance documentation consistently to a high standard
  • Effectively plan and managing multiple jobs at any one time taking into consideration hour allowances, labour and material requirements

Who are we looking for?

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager who is career focused and excited to be part of a successful company.

You will also demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Minium of 5 years post trade electrical experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent would be an advantage)
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers License (Preferred).
  • Budget management experience.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and familiarity with simPRO is considered a plus.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
