Licensing NT is an integral element of the Industry and Community Development branch of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality. The overall function of the division is to regulate the liquor, tobacco, racing and gambling industries and work cooperatively with other public service agencies to benefit the community. Responsible for the provision of liquor, tobacco, racing and gambling licences, monitoring compliance, implementing policy the Division provides sound advice and education programs while minimising potential harms to the community.

As a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst your primary objective is to perform data analysis tasks to prepare analytical advice to the Northern Territory Government on the development, monitoring, and evaluation of regulatory reform initiatives. This includes collating and disseminating relevant information, resolving problems and escalating issues when required. Your proven skills in managing databases, including your capability to develop complex queries, optimise performance, and safeguard data integrity and security, will be instrumental to your success. Well-developed communication skills and demonstrated experience employing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to design, develop, and deploy comprehensive ETF processes and proficiency in the use of reporting tools like Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is essential.
