Job Title: Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Clayton, Melbourne - Onsite
Salary: $120K–$130K + Super

About the Role

Kaliba are looking for a skilled Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily networking-focused (75%), with a secondary emphasis on infrastructure/Windows (25%). You will work on cutting-edge networking solutions, cloud migrations, and infrastructure projects across various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain networking solutions, including SD-WANs, MPLS, and ISP services.
• Manage and support firewalls, switches, and wireless solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Handle internet cutovers and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Work with Azure and AWS networking to support modern workplace migrations.
• Maintain and optimize private cloud infrastructure within NextDC.
• Provide infrastructure support, including Windows Server & Workstation management.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential Criteria:

• Firewalls: SonicWall (preferred), Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba
• Switching & Wireless: VLANs, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti
• Cloud Networking: Azure & AWS networking experience
• SD-WAN & ISP Services: MPLS, internet cutovers, ISP management

Desirable Criteria:

• Firewalls: Sophos XG, FortiGate, WatchGuard
• Windows Server administration & workstation support
• Basic Active Directory & Group Policy management
• Private cloud environments

Ideal Candidate

• Network & Infrastructure Engineering experience (ideally in an MSP/ consultancy environment)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
