About the role:

This an opportunity to join Pathfinder’s team to develop new products and enhance existing products. as we expand new technologies into new markets– You will use your skills to design software and control systems that will integrate with multiple hardware systems and commercial applications.

You will receive the necessary coaching and training to be successful in the role.

This is a full-time role based in Tullamarine, Victoria.

Must Have:

• At least 4 years’ experience with Delphi 2007 or later.
• A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a nationally accredited program or equivalent.
• Experience with modern software development and scripting languages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Talent for identifying problems and solving them.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance

Familiarity with any of the following will be highly regarded:

Industrial automation and/or robotics.

• Communication with hardware devices via TCP/IP, UDP, RS232.
• Software Internationalization and localization
• Computational geometry and 2D vector calculations
• Banded report generators (eg. FastReports)
• Local Databases (eg. DBISAM)
• Version control (eg. Team Coherence)
• Software licensing and installation
• Documentation using MS Word.
• CAD files in DXF and/or GBR format.
• Upgrading legacy Delphi projects
