HillView Aged Care is a provider of Premium Residential Aged Care services in Ashmore and Merrimac, Gold Coast Queensland. HillView began its journey as an aged care provider with the opening of our 40-bed residence in Ashmore in 1997. Then in 2006, our 134 bed, architecturally designed multi-level residence in Merrimac opened its doors.

About the role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, previous experience in aged care. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with the Clinical Management Team, and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Support resident care plans and assist with nursing assessments and treatments.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents.
• Skills in providing personal care, managing chronic conditions, and working as part of a healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in aged care, preferably with elderly patients who have complex health needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate approach to patient care and team leadership.
• Current Federal police check
