About the Role:

This position is responsible for planning and implementing key activities and initiatives to increase enrolments in Higher Education courses. Reporting to the Director of Higher Education, the role works collaboratively within the Directorate and across Marketing, Acquisitions/Future Students teams to support day-to-day operations and strategic efforts that build course awareness and drive enquiries through to enrolment.

The role focuses on delivering targeted internal and external activities designed to raise awareness and promote Higher Education courses. This includes participation in events such as trade fairs, Tertiary Information Sessions (TIS), student showcases, and information sessions. The role will work closely with the marketing team to enhance the web and social media presence, aiming to generate new enquiries that will be nurtured through to enrolment. Additionally, in collaboration with the Future Students team, this position will help foster relationships with key secondary schools and relevant community organisations to support enrolment and recruitment objectives.

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Relevant Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an educational customer service environment, ideally with a background in higher education marketing.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with varied cohorts and diverse stakeholders.
  • Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, meet deadlines, and analyse workflows to ensure efficient task processing.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Well-developed problem-solving skills with a proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, contributing cooperatively to team goals and fostering a supportive work environment.
