About the Role:

MSS Security is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Full-Time Security Officers at the University of Melbourne, specifically within the South Precinct section of the campus. Whether you're just starting your security career or bringing experience to the table, we offer a supportive environment that encourages career progression and growth opportunities.

Your duties will include, and are not limited to:

• Conducting regular foot patrols across the campus
• Escorting individuals around the campus and assisting with directions
• Locking and unlocking properties as required
• Responding to incidents and emergencies, and writing detailed incident reports
• Delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
• Responding to security emergencies, following SOP's and effectively de-escalating situations

Skills & Experience:

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Current Victorian Security Licence
• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
• Current Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
• Current drivers licence
• Working With Childrens Check (or willing to obtain)
• Availability to work a rotating roster
