About the role

As a Vacuum Truck Driver / All-Rounder, you will play a crucial role within the team at The Oil Guys in Wingfield, South Australia. This casual position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are committed to providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for operating a vacuum truck and assisting with a variety of tasks to support the overall operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate our vacuum truck to Empty Liquid Used Cooking Oil from The Oil Guys Provided Waste Management Units From hotels, takeaways, cafes and restaurants.
• Carry out Safety Inspections, general maintenance, minor repairs And Cleaning of the vehicles and associated equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading Our Company Vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and addressing their needs efficiently
• Contribute to the overall operations of the business by supporting the team in various tasks as required
  - Warehouse Duties When Required
  - Full Drum Exchanges At Venues With a Drum Trolley
  - Delivering & Installation Of Equipment At Our New Customers

What we're looking for

• A valid South Australian Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license with (HR) Preferred and Preferred experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment with on the job training provided.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment ( someone mechanically minded preferred )
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
• Someone Physically Fit, A positive can do attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  - Valid Forklift Licence an advantage but not essential
  - Valid Police clearance an advantage but not essential
  - Able to follow instructions, company policy and procedures.
