We provide both standard and custom-designed solutions, utilising patented Aerofloat technology and other cutting-edge products. Our After Care & Operations team ensures ongoing support, servicing, and chemical optimisation for our clients across a range of industries.

We are expanding and looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our Sydney-based team. This role is ideal for someone with chemical engineering expertise who enjoys hands-on fieldwork, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.

About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on multiple sites, conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, process optimisation, and troubleshooting wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance of wastewater treatment systems.
  • Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot chemical processes in treatment plants.
  • Conduct water sampling and chemical analysis to ensure plant efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations for plant improvements.
  • Write detailed service and maintenance reports on plant performance.
  • Assist in plant upgrades and modifications as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
  • Travel to client sites across Sydney, with occasional interstate visits.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on engineer with a strong problem-solving mindset and customer focus.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a chemical engineering role, preferably in wastewater treatment.
  • Hands-on experience in process optimisation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to conduct chemical analysis and interpret results.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong understanding of WHS regulations and Australian Standards.
  • Valid Manual Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.
