The role
The purpose of this role is to develop, coordinate and implement strategic statewide patient safety and quality data information systems, measurement programs and initiatives, utilising project management methodology for programs and initiatives such as the statewide clinical incident and consumer feedback systems (PSQ).
Key Reponsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective techniques for the development, design, collection, interpretation, analysis and presentation of accurate and reliable patient safety and quality data and information for publication on the public reporting system, Inform My Care.
- Identify new and appropriate methodologies, and adaptation of them to Queensland Health's needs.
- Oversee and manage the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Prepare and disseminate high quality project documentation including project management plans and materials for specific project activities associated with achieving project objectives.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- High level ability in the management of large scale complex projects through all phases of the project life cycle applying project management and change management methodologies with respect to data information systems and measurement programs and initiatives.
- Proven experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- High level ability to conceptualise, develop, communicate and evaluate new, innovation and creative approaches to address complex organisational issues in a clinical environment with respect to data information systems and measurement programs and initiatives.
- Proven effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare timely, accurate, responsive and well organised briefings and reports.
