Let’s talk about the role

In collaboration with the Nominated Supervisior and Educational leader, you will be responsible for delivery of the Kindergarten program.

  • You will be responsible for teaching activities in general
  • You will be responsible for the review, development and delivery of educational programs (in consultation with the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader)
  • You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and routines
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Assisting with daily room tasks - e.g. activity preparation and meal times
  • You will be responsible for providing and/or supporting a comprehensive transition to school program
  • Supervise students on placement
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children
  • Ensure compliance with our policies and procedures
  • Actively liaise with families

The following qualifications, skills and attributes are also essential:

  • ACECQA approved teaching qualification
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Possess excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace
  • Have a clear understanding of the QKLG/EYLF and NQS
  • Have a clear understanding of relevant Regulations
  • Experience with Xplor and Playground would be highly regarded
