About the client:
Our client is a global market leader in manufacturing and supplying quality blinds in Australia.
They are currently looking for Blinds Assemblers (will need to do the packing too if required)

Duties:

• Use of hand and power tools.
• Reading assembly diagrams and instructions
• Cut the fabric and operate the machine.
• Prepare the roller tube and cut the roller tube to match the fabric's width.
• Use machines to glue or fasten the fabric onto the roller tube.
• Install the bottom bar.
• Assemble the rolling mechanism. Attach the chain or spring system to the roller tube.
• Check the blinds to make sure they roll smoothly and are aligned properly.
• Pack the finished blinds for shipping and label them correctly.
  

Shift Timings: Monday to Thursday 5 am – 1.30 pm & Friday 5 am - 11 am
Pay Rate: $32/hr + Super

To be qualified for the position:

Assemblers

• Prior experience in assembling products.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read instructions well and assemble blinds accurately.
• Has a strong technical aptitude for machine operation training
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to pack products when required.
• Can commit to Monday to Friday work.
• Has access to own reliable car to go to and from work.
