The Opportunity:
Mayday Recruitment is partnering with a leading global insurer to find multiple dedicated Travel Help Desk Operator for their Brisbane CBD office!
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them navigate their travel insurance options and ensuring they get the coverage they need.

What’s on Offer?
💰 Hourly Rate: $35.86 per hour
📍 Location: Southbank, Brisbane
⏰ Schedule: Monday - Friday (Shifts will be 6am - 2pm or 11am - 8pm)
📈 Contract Extension: Possibility of extending beyond 3 months

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer calls regarding travel insurance inquiries, products, and promotions.
- Assist customers in choosing the best insurance options for their needs.
- Follow up with warm leads from the company’s website via outbound calls.
- Achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and success.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the system.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
We need someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Sales experience, particularly in a contact centre or customer-facing environment (preferred).
- A background in the insurance or travel industry is a plus, but not essential.
- A team-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
