Facilities and Operations Supervisor | 18-month contract

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities and Operations Supervisor with legal industry experience to join a highly reputable Brisbane CBD law firm office. This is an initial 18 month contract with the possibility to go permanent afterward. This role is essential for managing the day-to-day operational services of the Brisbane office.

About the role:

• Oversee and manage a team of 8, including receptionists and assistants, ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and work practices.
• Work closely and maintain strong relationships with the COO, Head of Office, and the management team to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational processes and service delivery.
• Oversee office maintenance, project management for office enhancements, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor and review the office budget, ensuring expenditures stay within approved limits.

About you:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a legal corporate environment.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
