What you'll be doing

• Support the Operations Manager in leading and motivating the hotel team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service across all areas of the hotel
• Assist with roster planning, staff training and development to ensure optimal team performance
• Oversee the effective management of hotel inventory, finances and administrative tasks
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the guest experience
• Be a visible presence on the hotel floor, problem-solving and supporting the team as needed
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

• Several years' experience in a similar Assistant Manager or Duty Manager role within the hospitality sector
• Strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with staff and guests
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in using hotel management systems and technology
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
