The position of Rehabilitation Consultant:

You will be supporting your clients through their whole mental health rehabilitation journey from an occupational health perspective. You will become a rehab expert in time and act as the participant's advocate and their educator as you guide them through what can be a tough process for them.

Here is what the reality of this role is:

• Advocating for people who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health
• Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
• Conducting assessments to help guide people toward their new career
• Working with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clients
• Develop graduated return plans by liaising doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
• Case managing complex psychological issues and liaising with treating health professionals

What you need to be considered:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Allied Health, Rehabilitation, Counselling or Psychology & Industry Specific Registration with AHPRA for OT & Physio, ASORC or relevant association for Exercise Physiologists and Social Workers
• Will consider a Provisional Psychologist who has worked in the Rehab area

What you can expect in return:

• Salary range from $75-$95k + super for 1-3 years' experience
• $105k + super for an industry experienced Senior Rehab Counsellor with min. 5 years of experience
• We will consider Provisional or General Psychologists if you have industry experience in occ rehab
• $1,000 towards Career Professional Development annually
• KPI of 6 billable hours per day
• Up to 20% bonus (worth $20k) + super (staff can easily get 10% if they meet their 6 hours a day)
