Aurum Contracting is a privately owned, Civil company looking for Concreters Labourers/Conduit Installers, with the below minimum experience to join our team in casual fulltime roles, We have multiple FIFO, DIDO roles in remote civil projects in central QLD. Immediate Start working rosters 10/4, 10.5 hr days 7 days a week. Long term work, minimum 6 months with likely extension. Notes: This is not a casual on-call role you will work each day of the roster, these roles are NOT Brisbane based.

Essential skills and experience

• 2-5 Years in the civil construction industry not building
• General all rounder with labouring, concreting experience in slabs, conduit installation, piles and similar concrete structures
• Ability to place and finish concrete and undertake general labouring tasks
• Current drivers license Note: license validity checks will be performed
• Construction White Card
• Comfortable working for a mid size privately owned business
• Able to work DIDO/FIFO, rosters include weekends (10/4)
• All training, flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided
• Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing and health screening
• Ability and willingness to undertake online and face to face training and inductions
• Must have a ‘smart phone’
• Strong safety awareness
• Ability to provide documented proof of right to work in Australia

Job tasks and responsibilities

Perform all tasks relating to concreting activities as directed by the site supervisor e.g.:

• Work as part of a team in various works
• Positive attitude
• Maintains tidy work area (safety)
• Ability to complete all physical tasks related to concreting work.
• Ability and willingness to follow direction from the Site Supervisor or Project Manager

Desirable:

• RII plant tickets e.g. Excavator, Skid Steer, Loader, HR, HC, license
