Full Time Truck Driver

Leading Perth Bakery looking for truck drivers for deliveries. We are a family owned business and have been growing every year for the past 18 years. We employ approx 200 staff, most of all our FTE have been with us for many years and we have a great team.

We have Full Time roles and casual positions (Monday to Sunday).The full time applicant is required 4 days a week, one day on the weekend. It requires 10:30pm starts and finishes at approx 8:30am.

Your role is to deliver the breads for both wholesale customers and our store owned cafes. The job then takes you in our company owned trucks to distribute the product. You will work in a team, so being a team player with other members is critical in this role. The position requires you to be physically fit and work with speed and attention to detail. You must be able to lift 15kg regularly.

You must have a current manual WA Drivers Licence.

A good knowledge of Perth's roadways and ability to think logically.

Tasks:

• moving vehicles into position for loading and unloading breads and crates
• Using a tail lift, you will need to observe safety regulations
• Lawleys loading documents to be completed daily verifying goods condition
• Check truck regularly to ensure safety regulations
• Comply with Lawleys HACCP regulations estimating weights of load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
• ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods in good condition
• Friendly attitude as representing Lawleys Bakery cafe to our customers
• Feedback of protentional complaints or compliments

Skill Required

• Good eye sight
• Good with maps and numbers
• Spatial awareness of the yard, truck and loading areas.
• Full Drivers Licence

Qualifications

• Certificate II or III
• At least 1 year relevant experience
