About the role

Kids Therapy Clinics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Behaviour Therapist to join our growing team in Casula, NSW. As a Behaviour Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based interventions and support to children and adolescents with a range of behavioural, emotional, and developmental needs.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the individual needs of each client
• Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans focused on improving communication, social, and self-regulation skills
• Delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions using applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based techniques
• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care
• Documenting client progress, updating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in regular professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Behaviour Therapist or similar role in the psychology, counselling, or social work field
• Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, ESDM Therapy or a related discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in the application of ABA and other evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with behavioural, emotional, or developmental challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families
