TRADE ASSISTANT / MR LICENSE

About the role
We are seeking a reliable Trade Assistant with construction experience and MR license to join our busy building company. The role calls for someone who can assist our Carpenters / Tradesmen with the day to day operations of our projects. Career progression for the right candidate.

Duties will include:

• Driving Medium rigid truck to and from workshop daily to sites delivering materials & equipment as needed
• Assisting with day-to-day running of sites at various locations
• Working to tight delivery timeframes and managing multiple jobs
• Ability to use Power Tools
• Ensuring the site is kept clean at all times
• Correct & safe storage of materials & equipment both onsite and at our main workshop
• Ability to work well with our existing carpentry team as well as autonomously.

Requirements:

• WA Drivers license & MR license
• Forklift (LF) license desirable
• White Card
• Be organised, punctual, well presented and have great customer service.
• Obtain National Police Clearance
• Full working rights within Australia

About the company
We are an expanding Perth based building company specialising in home renovations/extensions, Retail, Hospitality and Commercial properties with our workshop based in Bayswater.

Our work can include working unsupervised on small maintenance projects to working with a team of different trades on large renovations, commercial builds or retail/hospitality fit outs.

Rate - $40/hr plus super for the right candidate
