Survival Solutions is a locally owned and operated fire safety management business. Although our Head office is located in Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast, this position is offered to candidates who live on the Central Coast and are willing to travel to our clients based in the Hunter and Hawkesbury regions.

Due to recent changes in government regulations, Survival Solutions is seeing significant growth and now requires an additional fire service electrician to join our team!

Immediate start is available for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and detection systems
• Programming and configuring fire detection systems, including control panels and detectors, to meet site-specific requirements
• Install and maintain emergency and exit lighting
• Perform regular testing and inspections of emergency lighting systems, and functionality tests, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in emergency and exit lighting circuits to ensure reliable operation and safety for building occupants.
• Conducting routine inspections of fire safety equipment
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations (including Australian Standards for fire safety)
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults related to fire systems
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure the systems are always operational
• Responding to emergency callouts for system failures or urgent repairs
• Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and service activities
• Investigating system failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence

Skills & Experience:

• Valid NSW Electrical License
• Strong team player who can also work independently
• Current WHS tickets (including white card)
• Current National police check
• Experience with Uptick Management Software is a plus but not required
