About the role

As a Residential and light commercial Piling Supervisor at A Team Earthmoving QLD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the installation of screw piles for various residential and light commercial construction projects. This full-time position is based in Browns Plains, QLD 4118, and involves managing a team of skilled screw piling installers to ensure the successful and efficient delivery of projects.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and leading a team of screw piling installers to ensure timely and high-quality installation of screw piles
• Interpreting and translating engineering drawings and specifications to the installation team
• Scheduling and coordinating screw piling activities to align with the overall construction timeline
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
• Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process
• Reporting on project progress and performance to the project management team
• Providing guidance, training and mentorship to the installation team to promote skill development and best practice

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Screw Piling Supervisor or similar role (Concreting) in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of screw piling installation techniques, equipment, and relevant safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects and teams
• Commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safe work environment
• Relevant construction industry qualifications or certifications
