We are a medium sized multi-disciplinary team of clinicians that are based across the country. We have appointed a highly experienced Speech Pathology Clinical Manager, with over 25 years’ clinical, research and teaching experience and a passion for clinical supervision and developing staff. About the role

We are looking for motivated, client centric, outcome focussed Speech Pathologist to join our expanding team and be instrumental in the growth and support of our graduate and general Speech Pathologists in Adelaide

• This role will have an extensive focus on professional development and career mapping.
• Provide assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties to help them achieve and maintain optimal independence and quality of life
• Train carers and other stakeholders in communicating effectively with clients, and work with assistants and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes to reach functional goals
• Develop augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients needs
• We are looking for highly motivated Speech Pathologist that thrives on working independently, has the drive to help and grow a team
• You must have a good level of commercial acumen and understand the key drivers behind referral trends
• You will be a leader in your field when it comes to providing a client centric and evidence-based service
• You will be able to assist with building on the training resources that already exist within the business
• The role will require you to lead and mentor staff across multiple areas of practice
• You will provide pivotal input for the development business processes for future occupational therapists and allied health professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a Speech Pathologist
• Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions and outcome measures
• NDIS experience and understanding is preferrable but not essential
• A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills
• Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
