We are a leading custom builder and developer specializing in high-quality residential and industrial projects in Perth. Due to our growing portfolio of exciting projects, we are now seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor / Construction Manager with a minimum of 5 years' experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight & Site Management:

• Oversee daily site activities for multiple projects, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Monitor construction progress, material procurement, and ensure resources are adequate for each phase of the project.
• Ensure all required documentation (drawings, permits, etc.) are available and adhered to on-site.
• Coordinate site teams, including Leading Hands, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration.
• Lead monthly site team meetings and provide updates to the directors.
• Implement theft control and housekeeping practices on all sites.
• Ensure quality inspections are conducted regularly and any defects are addressed promptly.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Maintain high safety standards across all sites and ensure compliance with OHS requirements.
• Conduct weekly/monthly safety inspections and ensure risk assessments and method statements are followed.
• Lead tool-box talks and ensure safety awareness across the site teams.

Quality Assurance (QA) & Compliance:

• Oversee the quality of all projects to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, the Building Code of Australia, and company standards.
• Review and action Defects reports, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement continuous improvements for better workmanship and process efficiency.

Team & Project Management:

• Assist in tender submissions, budgeting, and contract signing processes.
• Manage site team performance, provide guidance, and ensure the team works together to meet project goals.
• Identify and resolve any manpower or performance issues, escalating concerns to senior management as required.
• Reinforce company values, culture, and commitment to excellence in every interaction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Supervisor or Construction Manager role in residential or industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, quality standards, and compliance regulations.
• Proven track record in managing large and small projects, site teams, and subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
• Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, Australian standards and construction industry standards.
