About the role

As a Labour Hire Recruitment Officer, you will play an important role in sourcing and placing staff primarily in the construction/electrical industry. This is a full-time position based in our Sydney office, where you will be working with a small team to identify and recruit workers to meet the staffing needs of our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Actively sourcing and screening candidates to build a strong talent pool
• Conducting interviews and gathering information to evaluate candidate suitability
• Matching the right candidates to available job opportunities
• Maintaining a database of candidates and client requirements
• Conduct site inspections
• Providing excellent customer service to both clients and candidates
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment and labour hire regulations
• Collaborating with the wider recruitment team to drive business growth

What we're looking for

• Experience in office admin/recruitment desirable, but not essential, we are willing to train the right person
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service
• Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases, or willing to learn
• A proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented mindset
