We are an award-winning Company with Government contracts for repairs and maintenance in Brisbane suburbs to vacant houses before they are re-let. We are also a deeply established Home Modifications Company that specialise in Disability Access and Home Modifications.

About the role

We are looking for someone to join our Home Mods Team so will need to live in the area.

Your Role in this work:

We receive new Home Mods work on a daily basis and generally they need to be started and completed within two weeks.

A scope of works is provided for what repair work has been requested and you will be assisted during the training period to complete and document what you have carried out, after which you may be asked to work independently or as a member of a team. Assistance is always available.

Typical work required includes: Handrails, Ramps, Decking, Door Widening, Bathrooms, Outdoor rails and more.

You need to be able to use a mobile Work App to receive your job and scope of works and complete your times and any additional work required on the App. We use SimPro which also allows Purchases from Bunnings stores. We provide training on how to use this App and again, Team Leaders and our Office are always on call to assist.

You will be based out of Brisbane - servicing both northern and southern areas of Brisbane. Applicants that live locally will be preferred. We are particularly keen to fill positions on the northside as that is where we are growing fastest.

You Must have Home-Mods Experience, and we will look on favourably anyone who has had experience in Quoting this work.

Skills and experience

HomeMods experience.

Maintenance experience preferred, both for carpentry and basic tiling, plastering and minor painting.

Full Carpentry Trade Papers.

Full tool kit and suitable, reliable work truck and valid vehicle license.

White card.

Ability to adhere to our WH&S management system including safe work method statements to ensure hazards are identified, managed and controlled.

Ability to perform work with care and exactness to requirements.

Excellent and willing communicator.
