Park Avenue Laundry Group is a privately owned Australian company that offers Industrial and Cleanroom laundry services to Melbourne and throughout Australia. We have been operating since 1948, and have a reputation for prompt, thorough and friendly service. Our facilities are located in Warragul, with a service depot located in Brooklyn, servicing our Western Melbourne customers. In addition to uniforms and cleanroom garments, we also offer high-quality bed and table linen, as well as floor mats, continuous roller towels, wipers and kitchen linen. Our focus is ensuring delivery to our customers with exemplary service.

About the Role

We are seeking a team member to undertake our delivery run between Warragul and Sale on Tuesdays and Fridays. This involves visiting various customers on the route to collect and return garments and linen. This is an active role. You will be on your feet, lifting and carrying goods to and from your vehicle. This may involve climbing stairs. There will be some Interaction with site customer contacts and relaying information to account managers/operations as needed. Additional factory or relief driving work may be available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for the right candidate.

• Strong customer service skills and work ethic
• Ability to work autonomously with suitable training
• A passion and attitude for providing an outstanding customer experience
• Consent to undergo a medical, police history and driving history check
• Availability to work hours between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm 4-5 days per week

Skills / Experience required:

• An Unrestricted MR Manual Australian Drivers Licence and a 'Good Driving Record'
• The confidence to safely drive and navigate through busy streets, suburban roads and regional areas
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol, police and medical check
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
