Located NE of Adelaide CBD, this multidisciplinary electrical services company has built a specialty across Commercial and Industrial Electrical services. The Role
With a steady pipeline of work, our client is looking forward to welcoming an Industrial Electrician and Process Technician into the team, to work predominantly in wine production (bottling plants) and glass manufacturing, as well as the potential to assist in aluminium manufacturing, quarrying and water as needed.
With an attractive hourly rate on offer, there is the ability to bolster your income further with penalty rates for afternoon and night shifts based on peak client requirements.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding and maintaining industrial electrical plant and equipment at various sites
- Working on electrical and instrumentation process control systems
- Reading electrical schematics
- Installing/replacing/fault finding VFD’S
- Industrial control installations
- Designing and developing control systems
- Working with automated vehicles where required
- Job planning and documentation
- Training apprentices and working with other tradespeople
Preferred but not essential
- Programming/fault finding PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens and other)
- Use of Citect or SCADA/or Rockwell Factory Talk
- Cert III or IV in Instrumentation
Hourly Rate & Benefits
$55 - $60 + Super per hour

Requirements
This role will suit you if you enjoy the challenge of fault finding within industrial and commercial working environments and like to spend time working in a team environment as well as autonomously.
To be successful in taking on this role you will need to have proven electrical experience in industrial environments and have an unrestricted electrical licence. The ability to work some shift work at various times throughout the year is needed.
