Trade Assistant - Fixed Plant:

• Based in Bibra Lake
• Mon to Fri
• 4:30pm to 12:36am
• Occasional overtime and weekends
• Work day shift on public holidays
• Earn $46.25 per hour + penalties!

The Role:

You will be part of the Maintenance Team, assisting in the reactive and preventative maintenance of fixed plant and equipment to maximise production. You will attend to operational equipment problems, working to minimise process interruptions which result from equipment breakdowns and failures.

This is a fast paced role and you must be able to resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Mechanical Fitter with general mechanical duties as directed, such as repairs, cleaning and maintaining the plant machinery and workshop equipment, etc.
• Inspection tasks of the plant and equipment
• Reporting equipment damage and ensuring equipment is fit for purpose, safe and ready for production
• Operate a Scissor lift and EWP
• Experienced in operating hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
