Mindview Psychology has a new position available for a passionate Clinical or General Psychologist looking to build their clinical practice. We’re seeking a practitioner with a warm, professional, and collaborative attitude who is motivated to make a difference in their clients' lives.

Our practice is seeking a practitioner to work from our warm and inviting treatment rooms in the CBD, to meet demand for face-to-face sessions. Telehealth services remain and are well supported and facilitated by our practice systems. Where possible, practitioners are supported to work from home if they wish to build a partial caseload of Telehealth clients.

We encourage self-care among all our psychologists and do not ask that our therapists provide more appointments in a day than they are comfortable with. The needs of the practice and the needs of the practitioners are managed by cultivating a warm, respectful and trusting relationship.

This care is also extended to our clients. Trust, warmth and professionalism are prioritised in all client interactions and practice policies are carefully developed, implemented, and managed with a balance of clear boundaries and compassionate communication. The practice also takes social responsibility seriously and is committed to ensuring that care is delivered ethically and accessibly.

Furthermore, our fees reflect the valuable work that our therapists do which essentially results in a higher-than-average financial reward for the clinician. Rather than being percentage-based, our service fees are capped which means experienced and sought-after clinicians are able to more directly financially benefit from the ability to set their own fees based on client demand.

Our practice attracts self-aware and motivated clients living, working and studying in the CBD area and also in greater Melbourne. Our careful intake process ensures that our psychologists are matched with suitable full-fee paying clients who are aligned with their therapeutic focus and experience.

We are seeking one or more applicants for this role with the option to work one day a week, or multiple. We operate Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm and we encourage practitioners to set a schedule that suits them within those time frames.

Essential Criteria

• Fully registered with AHPRA
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Current ABN
• Interest and commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
• Ability to work independently with a range of adult presentations
• Private practice experience is highly regarded but not mandatory
