About the role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician or Electrician to join our team at Northern Air Repair in Cairns, QLD. This full-time role will involve the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration system issues
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of HVAC equipment
• Minor electrical repairs and installations if you are a qualified electrician.
• Install new air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations
• Maintain detailed records and provide progress updates to the team

What we're looking for

• Trade qualification as an Air Conditioning Technician or Trade Electrician
• Minimum 1 years' experience working in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry
• Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Sound understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to quality workmanship
