WorkPac is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Mine Controller / Dispatch Operators to join our team. We have multiple positions available for various durations:

• 2x 12-month Max Term Positions
• 1x 9-month Max Term Position

About Our Client
Whitehaven Coal is Australia's largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales with a lifespan of 25 years.

What You Will Be Doing

• Execute and maintain compliance to the Production Plan.
• Communicating with the Mine Control and Production Supervisors.
• Optimise haulage by identifying improvement ideas and opportunities.
• Initiate improvement and work with minimal supervision.
• Accurate and timely entry of mining data into multiple computer systems
• Maintain and optimise safe mining operations.

What You Will Need

• High level of communication ability with well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Experience controlling large fleets in a mining dispatch control role.
• Able to follow procedures whilst seeking improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication, computer skills and comfortable with technology.
• Willingness to undergo a full criminal history check.
