RESTARAUNT & FUNCTIONS SENIOR FLOOR MANAGER

Located adjacent to the picturesque Thorndon Park reserve in Newton and only 15min from the CBD, Rezz is one of Adelaide’s most sought-after destinations and this position represents an excellent career opportunity to an experienced floor manager.

The successful applicant will work side by side with the owners and our food and beverage team in the general day to day running of the floor.

This is not an office job but a hands-on working side by side with our team and satisfying our customers in a busy environment.

The successful applicant oversees the restaurant, café and manages small, medium and large functions.

We are searching for skills in the following areas:

Customer service
We know that floor managers need to be able to plan, be prepared for busy periods, and be able to think on their feet. So, we call for logical thinkers, who are passionate about their work, have excellent customer service and possess fine people skills for this role.

Salesmanship
We also know that great floor managers never let an opportunity go to secure and satisfy every customer that either contacts or visits REZZ.

Communication skills
Floor managers need to be great communicators, strategists, and will also benefit if they have a second language. They must be able to take and co-ordinate bookings, manage staff and ensure that mistakes are identified and eliminated before they become a problem. So, if you have the above, present well, and have the passion for unparalleled customer service, calmness, logical and strategic thinking then this role could be for you.

Other skills

• Good Computer skills and be proficient in POS and booking systems.
• Be able to set rosters using a software-based system.
• Follow budgets.
• RSA qualifications
• Proven career history in the hospitality industry (restaurants, café, functions/banquet operations)
• Logical thinker and problem solver
• Accountable
• Adhere to all food and drinks Legislation
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Proven ability to train and guide a team.
