Prescript Recruitment is offering a locum opportunity for FACEMs at Launceston General Hospital (LGH), a Tertiary Regional Referral Centre where your expertise will have a direct impact on the local community. The Position
This locum role is based at Launceston General Hospital in Tasmania. Shifts are ten hours long, with on-call duties required only once per every four to five shifts. You will be working alongside multiple FACEMs, ensuring a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
The position offers a competitive daily rate of $3,300, with payment available via ABN or through Prescript’s payroll provider. We take care of the logistics—flights, accommodation, and a car are all provided—so you can focus entirely on your work and enjoy your time off exploring Tasmania.
Dates Available
We currently have the following blocks available for locum shifts:
9 to 12 May 2025
15 to 19 May 2025
29 May to 2 June 2025
4 to 10 June 2025
12 to 16 June 2025
19 to 23 June 2025
You can choose to work one or more of these blocks, depending on your availability and preferences.

What We Require From You
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold current AHPRA Specialist Registration
Be a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
Be available for one or more of the listed date blocks
You should be confident in working independently while collaborating with a team of experienced medical professionals.
