Looking to join one of Australia’s most integral federal government departments? This department helps to make life of all Australians safer and is looking for a Project Technical Lead.

Working in Brisbane office, you will be focused on engineering for their operational technologies. This is an end to end role working on bespoke IT systems, network infrastructure and applications.

You will be primarily focused on safety systems.

Aside from the above you will be responsible for

• Design / development of technical specifications
• Management of System Engineering & Test Management Plans
• Review of test plans and activities
• Authoring design and specifications documents
• Analysis and review of system performance with a view to improve
• Vendor management and engagement

This role is looking for a delivery lead with an engineering background. While you will be tech agnostic you will be well versed in the SDLC and technical delivery. We are looking to speak with

• Operational technology background
• End to end engineering from design to post delivery
• Strong SDLC expertise
• High level vendor management skills
• Have or qualify as a Registered Professional Engineer
• Australian citizenship with the ability to get a security clearance

On offer to the successful candidate will be a contract role with a duration of 1 year rates based on your experience around $700 per day.
