About the Role
Based in Werribee, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impact as a Speech Pathologist/Therapist in a team that prioritises excellence, innovation, and holistic care. With a strong reputation for high-quality treatment and patient-focused service, our client is committed to helping individuals regain confidence in their communication and swallowing abilities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication, swallowing, and feeding disorders, ensuring personalised support for each client.
- Develop tailored therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals, ensuring realistic and achievable outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based interventions using a variety of strategies and resources to support skill development in communication and swallowing.
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to maximise effectiveness.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and support staff to deliver holistic, client-centred care.
- Offer education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them with strategies to support communication and feeding skills beyond therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports to ensure seamless collaboration with allied health professionals.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to establish meaningful, measurable objectives that enhance communication and overall well-being.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Speech Pathology/Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
