Installer - Blinds, awnings, shutters and curtains

Based in Burleigh / Tweed Heads. Covering all of Gold Coast and Northern NSW.

We welcome anyone that may have experience in one or more areas but is keen to learn some new products and techniques.

Experience with using hand tools is desirable.

The Role

We do a wide range of products including; Blinds, plantation shutters, awnings of all types and curtains.

Mostly light and easy work. Occasionally some heavy type work where you will need to be able to plan ahead to achieve the desired outcome.

We contract to many of the Gold Coast's top retailers. Initially working closely with one of our experienced installers, you will install our products to the highest standards. We work on building sites, commercial and residential homes in some of the Gold Coasts most prestigious locations.

No two days are the same, sometimes you will have multiple job sites in the one day, other jobs you will be at for a few days. Some days indoors, some days outdoors enjoying our ever changing weather.

Depending on your skillset, you will be trained in all areas of installation, from customer service attitudes and skills, product knowledge, problem solving and finishing touches.

You will commonly be working at ceiling height which involves working on a small step ladder while using tools over head so will need to be physically fit and able.

We have high standards, in both safety and quality of work, and you will be expected to carry out your work to these high standards at all times.

Driving a van will be required. All tools and equipment are provided by the business

The Hours

Full time hours 38hrs per week. Mon to Fri.

Start at the warehouse 730am most mornings, aiming for a 4pm finish, days sometimes run over, hours are from warehouse start to warehouse finish.

Overtime is paid at 1.5 x rate after 38hrs

The Pay

Dependent on experience and training requirements, with a range between $32 and $38 per hour
