About the role

Precision Radiology is seeking a skilled and caring MRI radiographer to operate our new 1.5T Philips ambition MRI. As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support the healthcare needs of our local community. What you'll be doing

• Performing quality MRI examinations in a safe environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic information.
• Providing excellent patient care by guiding and assisting patients throughout the imaging process
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret and discuss imaging findings
• Participating in continuous learning and professional development activities

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification
• Current registration as a Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting, specialising in MRI.
• Excellent technical skills in operating a wide range of radiographic equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
