Welcome to A&K Webber Transport!

Established in 1986, A&K Webber Transport have been in operation for 39 years now. A proud Australian family owned and operated business now with a fleet of 15 heavy vehicles, the business grew further with the addition of an in house workshop 2 years ago. Celebrating a longstanding partnership with their major customer, A&K offer team members secure, stable and consistent employment with plenty of overtime always available to increase earnings.

The Position

Joining as the newest member of this close-knit team, this position will involve driving the heavy vehicles in the A&K Webber Transport fleet. This fleet includes prime movers, semi-trailers and b-doubles. Local, country and interstate runs are available Monday to Friday and weekends are yours to rest and enjoy life!

Each morning you will drive to our major customers Distribution Centre in Dandenong South, leave your car there and pick up your load for the day. At the end of each day you’ll return your truck to the Dandenong South Distribution Centre [where it will be re-loaded overnight], pick up your car and head home for the evening.

The successful candidates for these positions will have a minimum of 3 years heavy vehicle driving experience and a HC and/or MC licence. Additional Selection Criteria includes:

Excellent driving skills and a great safety record on the roads!;

A solid work history [you’ve shown a good long-term commitment to jobs in the past];

Sound communication skills, and;

Great spatial awareness!
