The Role:

As the sole Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in defining, implementing, and managing their security strategy, end to end. Your day to day responsibilities will consist of BAU, compliance tasks/reporting, working on new projects/products (main focus), and researching the latest security trends, making recommendations on how to improve their overall security.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security measures for the protection of their cloud, data, network & applications
• Safeguarding the organisation's information assets and systems against cyber threats, unauthorised access, and data breaches
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, to identify and mitigate potential security risks
• Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, & patch management systems etc
• Provide security awareness training to employees, ensuring consistent compliance to all policies and procedures

Requirements:

• 4+ Years of professional IT/Cyber Security experience
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, web proxy, and security audits etc
• Experienced with network security, technologies, & monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 270001 highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder engagement & communication skills
