Manufacture and Assembly of Awnings - Window Furnishings

PERMANENT POSITION

The position would suit an experienced Assembly Worker / Trade Assistant with prior experience in the manufacture of AWNINGS / WINDOW FURNISHINGS , use of tools and operating machinery.

This is a great company to work for and is an established Manufacturing and Home Improvement Company in the Window and Textiles market, based at Berrinba in Logan.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience Operating Machinery & the use of tools - ability to cut lengths of aluminum and follow job orders
• Industry experience in window furnishings – highly regarded - although ongoing training will be provided
• A sense of humour also highly regarded
• Able to follow directions and work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Current Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in Assembly / Production work an advantage
• Ability to work - 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 2.00pm Fridays.
