Workfast are working on behalf of an a well known civil and road upgrade company who have recently been awarded a number of packages on road and bridge upgrades in Queensland.

Our client are looking for Skilled Excavator Operators who have background working with GPS Final Trim, and hold valid tickets.

About you

• Must have an up to date RII to operate excavators
• Able to carry out final trim works using Trimble GPS systems
• Experience working on road upgrades and/or civil works
• Experience in operating in tight areas
• Able to perm detailed work around utilities
• Experience in using machines up to 23 tonne
• 3-4 years working in a similar role
• Having any other tickets such as bobcat, moxy or roller will be a huge bonus.

What you will be doing

• Working on a major QLD projects
• Operating all different size excavators up to 36 tonne, primarily you will be operating a 14 tonne excavator
• Assisting labour when required
• Bulking out
• Detailing work
• Final Trim
• Loading trucks
• Any other duties as per site management
