We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Switchboard Draftsman to join our team. As an integral member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for electrical switchboard systems and components using AutoCAD or other CAD software. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and Drawing: Use AutoCAD or other CAD software to create detailed wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical illustrations for electrical switchboard systems.
• Preparing Specifications: Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for electrical systems to ensure designs are efficient and comply with all relevant codes and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Switchboard Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software, with experience in electrical design.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Solid math and technical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to create clear and precise designs.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred.
• Located in Wetherill Park site
• $45 hr + Super

About you!

• Experience with 2D/3D modelling software for electrical switchboard
• Knowledge of electrical design standards and best practices.
• Previous experience working on large-scale electrical projects.
• MUST be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
