Accountant – Business services & Taxation

WCA Chartered Accountants – Ballina and Lismore

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Business Services team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have an Accounting or Business degree, or be in the progress of obtaining such degree, and be keen to further their career in a professional public practice environment.

This position reports directly to the Business Services Team Manager and Director.

The role will involve completing the following tasks:

• Processing of data and Preparation of financial reports for various entities.
• Preparation of income tax returns and activity statements for various entities.
• Reporting to colleagues on financial reports and taxation issues
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite and Xero is certainly an advantage.

Ideally, you will have the desire to build your career as an Accountant in public practice. The right candidate will have opportunity to progress further as their skills and experience develop within the team. Our diverse client base will provide a variety of experiences and growth opportunities.
