We are currently seeking a MR/ forklift driver/ yard attendant to work at our Depot in Greenfields.

We are a general freight company that services Whyalla daily and Cowell twice a week. Our Greenfields depot operates from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and according to freight demands there may be some overtime involved.

We are looking for someone that is reliable and has a genuine interest in gaining long term employment. You would need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, be cable of thinking about the tasks ahead, show good communication skills, have good time management, be punctual and be able to follow instructions when given. It is very important that you have the ability to conduct yourself in a polite and respectful manner when dealing with management, co-workers and customers.

Duties included - but not limited to

MR truck - ute pickup and deliveries in local Adelaide and metro

Understanding Load restraint compliance

Daily loading and unloading of open trailers and tautliner traliers.

Opening/closing Tautliners, removing gates & strapping

recording weights and measurements of freight and record this on delivery dockets.

handle all freight will care to avoid damage and if damage goods are delivered seek instruction on whether to accept goods.

keep all vehicles and work areas clean and tidy

work unsupervised.

To be Successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

Forklift License

MR License

Transport Loading Experience

High degree of accuracy / attention to detail

Car license
