MHR Hydraulics – Hydraulic Technician/Mechanical Fitter

About the Position:

We are looking for a skilled Hydraulics technician / Mechanical fitter to join our team.

We install hydraulic systems in transport, which involve mounting and connecting hydraulic components, running hoses and tubing, and ensuring proper alignment and fit.

In addition to installing hydraulics, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop skills and or expand experience across a variety of closely aligned trades (electrical, fabrication, pneumatics, painting etc).

This is a Full-time position with a probationary period. We operate Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm. We do not operate weekends, public holidays and close over the Christmas/New Year period.

Skills Required:

A background in either hydraulic, mechanical, fabrication or electrical trades with experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic tooling desirable, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Mechanically minded.
• Have pride in your work.
• Ability to maintain high levels of housekeeping around own work area.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Be honest and reliable.
• Safety first mindset.

• A HR licence and forklift licence would be highly desirable.
