About the role

Toothsavers' is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Team Leader to join our thriving dental practice in Mount Annan, NSW. As the Dental Practice Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career progression and personal development.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dental practice
• Providing leadership and guidance to the dental team, including dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff
• Monitoring and optimising patient flow, scheduling, and appointment management
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of patient care
• Effectively managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining the practice's financial records
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and patient satisfaction
• Liaising with patients, external healthcare providers, and other stakeholders as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a dental practice management or team leadership role
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in the use of dental practice management software and technology
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices
• Tertiary qualification in dental assisting, healthcare management, or a related field is highly desirable
• Candidates with previous practice manager experience are welcome.
