We currently have an opportunity available for a motivated, enthusiastic Electrician, who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

About the role
Based from our Thornton facility, we are seeking an Electrician/s with experience or a desire to work on HVAC systems - Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment, BMS and Automation controls with our Onsite Air Conditioning team.

What you'll be doing

As a full-time Electrician you will be working across various work sites, carrying out the installation, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC electrical systems, mechanical electrical and BMS control systems.

Your duties will include:

• Final electrical sub circuits
• BMS control systems
• Automation systems
• Mechanical electrical interlock wiring
• Variable speed drives
• Motorised Actuators

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new HVAC systems and associated electrical components
• Installation and termination of mechanical services switchboards
• Installation, testing and commissioning of, but not limited to:
• Carrying out testing procedures using electrical testing equipment
• Assisting with associated inspection and test plan documentation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

• Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical License (Essential)
• Experienced working on commercial and / or domestic construction sites
• Experienced working on HVAC and BMS systems (Desirable)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Current driver's licence
