Farmhand/Irrigation/Farm Duties.

Our growing Leafy Greens business is now growing in Lockyer Valley QLD, we now require a 'hands-on' energetic and highly motivated Farmhand to help with all day-to-day aspects of the farm, tractor work, irrigation harvesting and driving harvesters, to join our team.

This position requires the successful applicant to have sound knowledge and experience in vegetable farming or cropping/Farming.

Ordinary Hours of Work are Monday - Friday but the position requires the candidate to have a level of flexibility which requires working after hours and weekends. (The fully automated irrigation system is controlled with a phone app)

Fulltime, Casual and year-round work.

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Practical background in vegetable farming or cropping 2 years minimum farming, cropping, irrigation and working with tractors.

Any Farming experience labouring etc would be an advantage.

Working outdoors.

In addition, the following skills and experience will be required:

* Ability to work independently

* Tractor driving

* Experience in Irrigation.

* Fertigation.

* Irrigation maintenance.

* Cultivation

* Spraying

* General tractor work

* Willing to work flexible hours.

Attention to detail and having a passion for farming are key, enjoy working with people and enjoy rural settings with motivated teams.
